What's your Dutch level?
Three short parts — A1, A2 and B1 — with words, listening and grammar. The questions get harder, and the test stops as soon as they get too hard, so you only answer what tells us something. At the end you see your level from A1 to B1 and where to start.
A1
Beginner. Introduce yourself, ask simple questions, shop, read signs and short messages.
A2
Elementary. Get through everyday life — the doctor, the gemeente, work — understand short texts and announcements, write short messages.
B1
Intermediate. Explain, give reasons and opinions, follow clear speech and texts, write emails and letters. The level for the integration exam.
Turn your sound on: some questions are listening.
